Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.Responsibilities• Create simple and compelling messages, positioning, and stories for the Microsoft Security portfolio for content integration into campaigns, pitch decks, executive communications, videos, demos, sales enablement, key launches, events, and moments• Own the messaging framework for the Microsoft Security product portfolio, keynote presentations for major events, and pitch decks for portfolio-level product packaging• Partner closely with product line PMMs within the Microsoft Security business to integrate security portfolio messaging into security product messaging and vice versa (messages that ladder up, down, and connect across)• Partner closely with PMM teams across Microsoft’s other businesses to integrate Security messaging into the top-level Microsoft messaging and other product/business narratives for key moments, launches, and big keynote stories• Manage portfolio marketing knowledge base including persona profiles, firmographics, and market definitions/segmentation, business information that can be leveraged as proof points• Partner closely with marketing research teams to drive ongoing marketing research, tracking MS Security brand perception, consideration, preference, and audience trends/dynamics relative to our main competitorsQualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business• OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business• OR equivalent experience• Experience in cybersecurity/IT marketing in organizations at global scale• Experience in creating customer-facing content, including product marketing, thought leadership, and general marketing collateral for a portfolio of B2B products• Knowledge of security/IT buyers and users, firmographics and buying behaviors within enterprise and mid-market B2BPreferred Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business• OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business• OR equivalent experience• Communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor the content and the delivery to different audiences and formats and can influence decision making across executives and the broader organization• Experience writing/creating marketing strategies that are based on market and audience segmentation and analysis• Comfortable speaking/presenting to small and large audiences• Ability to provide examples of written work, presentations, and recordings of content deliveryProduct Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
