As Data Engineering Tech Lead, you’ll literally transform and save lives by building the data infrastructure that powers every client breakthrough — accelerating our ability to personalize care, scale psychedelic therapy, and make life-changing outcomes measurable. You’ll drive engineering velocity through rock-solid pipelines, airtight tracking, and AI-powered workflows — while mentoring a team and setting the bar for excellence across Mindbloom’s entire data ecosystem.


What You’ll Work On:

• Build Data Infra: Design and scale the cloud architecture that powers large-scale ELT workflows and real-time pipelines across Mindbloom’s platform.

• Integrate Seamlessly: Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth, reliable data flow across tools and teams.

• Automate Everything: Implement CI/CD for data, from deployment to monitoring, to ensure rapid iteration and minimal downtime.

• Optimize for Scale: Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and fine-tune performance in production to maximize speed, reliability, and efficiency.

• Lead with Vision: Mentor a high-performing team, champion best practices, and drive adoption of AI tools to elevate pipeline quality and engineering velocity.

• Audit and Architect Tracking: Ensure accurate, scalable event tracking across analytics and advertising tools — from client-side data capture to downstream systems like Segment, GTM, and Meta.

• Advise on Growth Data Strategy: Guide cross-functional partners on best practices for tracking, instrumentation, and data infrastructure to power high-leverage growth campaigns.

Given Mindbloom’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further, note that Mindbloom has minimal hierarchy and titles, but the scope of the role and compensation will be reflective of your level.  The estimated annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000 USD. The actual base salary may differ based on your current level of job-related skills and experience, location, and on market data changes. Total compensation for this role may vary depending on equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and benefits elected.
