Hiring nurses specialized in end-of-life care
With the aging of the baby boomer generation, the demand for end-of-life care nurses is expected to grow, so now is a great time to enter this growing field. End-of-life care is a specialized area of nursing that focuses on providing care and support to terminally ill patients and their families. Our nurses who specialize in end-of-life care play an important role in helping patients and families cope with the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of dying
The Hospice Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
At Mission Hospice of San Diego respect for everyone is a standard, not an objective. We support each other so we can use our time to do the things that matter inside and outside of work. We genuinely care about the well‐being of others and make a difference by giving our time and resources. We achieve more collectively than we ever could individually.
Compensation starting at $29/hr, DOE.
We are committed to excellence and finding fulfillment inside and outside of work.
