The ideal candidate will have either a background in the veterinary field or robust sales experience.Job Summary: The Client Engagement Specialist will be an integral part of the operational and hospital development strategy of the company.  The Client Engagement Specialist will be responsible for partnering with hospitals as a virtual extension of the hospital’s client service team. Serving to increase client retention and drive new client growth with high appointment conversions while supporting the hospital’s efforts to provide the best client experience for pet parents. This candidate will work collaboratively with MVP’s hospital and home office teams, largely marketing, operations, medical, and learning and development to ensure education, utilization, and superior experience when scheduling client appointments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, be passionate about collaboration and customer service, goal-oriented, as well as demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve problems in a quick and efficient manner.Travel required: NoneResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:• Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.• Delivering white-glove customer service during all interactions.• Contacting lapsed clients with pets that are past due for healthcare services.• Using knowledge and persuasive communication skills to convert conversations into confirmed appointments in practice management software systems.• Building a knowledge base for partner hospitals to answer commonly asked questions around our supportive services and opportunities.• Developing relationships with hospital teams to ensure a productive and collaborative partnership.• Establishing consistent communication methods with partner hospitals to ensure all generated appointments are effectively managed and input.• Assist with additional client win-back, new client growth, and pharmacy campaigns as needed.• Collaborate with marketing and home office teams to support hospital initiatives.• The Client Engagement Specialist will spend the majority of their time calling clients, so it is important that the candidate enjoys speaking on the phone with new people.Additional Functions• Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Excellent customer service skills to deliver high appointment conversions on behalf of hospitals.• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and efficiently manage multiple projects with organization and ease.• Adaptable with a willingness to embrace change and commitment to continuous improvement.• Results driven with time management and problem-solving skills and motivation to meet defined goals.Preferred Education And ExperienceThe education level and amount of experience which are preferred and “nice to haves” but are not necessarily required to be able to perform the Essential Functions.
