As a Solutions Engineer at Miter, you will serve as the technical bridge between our customers, sales team, launch team, and product organization. You'll own customer discovery throughout the entire lifecycle, translate complex requirements into clear blueprints, advise on product gaps, and lead the implementation of new features and integrations. This role sits within the Miter delivery organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery by scoping product requirements and creating detailed blueprints for new product features and integrations

  • Research and evaluate technical feasibility of 3rd-party API integrations and data flows

  • Project manage new development initiatives, including customer communications, expectation setting, testing, and training

  • Support Launch Managers with technical integration questions and complex customer configurations

  • Design and deliver product demonstrations for enterprise clients to build trust and increase conversion

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for complex product flows, including integrations, mobile app permissions, and accounting configurations

  • Provide technical expertise during implementation process for critical features like Work Order data flows and Salary Allocation rules

Qualifications

  • 3+ years leading customer-facing technical deployments

  • Strong background in engineering or computer science with ability to understand technical systems

  • Exceptional communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proven project management experience, capable of juggling multiple simultaneous projects

  • High customer empathy with ability to translate ambiguity into clear action plans

  • Experience working with APIs and technical integrations

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams

Nice to Have

  • Construction accounting background with understanding of job-costing and dimensional accounting

  • Experience with Sage ecosystem, Acumatica, or Netsuite
