We have an immediate opening for an Art Director in our Overland Park, KS office. Conceptual thinking and looking at the world a little differently is a must since you’ll be working on ground-breaking travel campaigns and executing in mediums from digital and print to video and event activations. Our new Art Director feels at home in a fast-paced agency setting and is passionate about creating great work that meets client goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Striving to become a travel industry expert
Designing comps, graphic elements and final deliverables
Thinking idea-first and then designing whatever helps sell your idea
Presenting work to the ACD and CD for approval
Participating in client-facing presentations representing Creative
Staying current on design, campaign and social trends
Working with copywriters and other designers to foster an energetic, team-centered environment
Being a self-starter and seeking proactive creative opportunities.
Working closely with interdepartmental teams to ensure client goals are achieved
Occasional out-of-town travel required

Qualifications

Impressive portfolio with launched client projects
At least 2-years work experience in Advertising or related industry
Advanced understanding of design, conceptual ideation, and typography. Illustration skills are a plus
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant graphic design tools
Strong time management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced agency setting meeting deadlines
