Senior Data Protection Manager - 6 month FTC

The Senior Data Protection Manager will join our team and lead on data protection alongside a Data Protection Manager. Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Director (also the Data Protection Officer), you will have a range of responsibilities directly related to data protection.

Please note this is a 6-month FTC role.

• Working closely with the rest of the risk & compliance team and the business, you will help Moneybox build a best-in-class risk & compliance program. You will be involved in, but not limited to, these duties:
• Setting up the data protection framework in the new Diligent governance, risk and compliance tool
• Carrying out data protection risk assessments, including data protection impact assessments
• Provide data protection input and contribute to the audit of storage and access technology audit
• Provide considered, pragmatic advice on data protection particularly for product development and the use of AI
• Assist with data protection risk management including monitoring, periodic reviews and reporting
• Ensure ongoing responsibilities such as data subject access requests are appropriately delivered
• Contribute to broader work by the team, including periodic reviews, to continually enhance controls
• Assist with regulatory and other ad hoc projects to deliver change
• Assist in preparing and maintaining policies and procedures

• Demonstrable data protection experience with a detailed knowledge of UK GDPR and PECR 
• Knowledge of PSD2 would be a bonus but not required to apply
• Experience identifying and implementing improvements
• Great communication and listening skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
