Your Next Challenge    
 
We are looking for an accomplished and strategic Head of Sales to lead our growth, enhance client engagement, and strengthen our market positioning across Foreign Exchange treasury solutions within the Industrials & Logistics sector.  This leadership role will focus on advancing sales execution and building impactful relationships with our clients.
 
As a player-coach, you will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering their development and elevating their impact. By taking ownership of sector strategy, you’ll provide valuable market insights and collaborate closely across teams to strengthen Moneycorp’s reach and relevance. Leading the end-to-end sales process, you’ll identify growth opportunities, enhance client engagement, and drive initiatives that underscore Moneycorp’s commitment to strategic partnerships and market leadership.
 
The Head of Sales will lead the strategic growth, sales execution, and market positioning across the Industrials & Logistics sector for Foreign Exchange treasury solutions. This is a high-impact role designed for a seasoned sales leader who will own sector strategy across the business, deliver actionable market insights, and drive origination activities to enhance Moneycorp's presence and footprint within the sector. As a trusted partner and advisor, the ideal candidate will foster strong client relationships, elevate Moneycorp’s sector presence, effectively manage end to end sales processes and work collaboratively across business stakeholders to increase new business revenue opportunities.
 
This role provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on Moneycorp's growth across the Industrials & Logistics sector, helping to drive the company's long-term success while fostering high standards and leading a team.
 
What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role   
 
Skills and Experience: 
  
  • Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years in sales leadership within Foreign Exchange, Payments, Fintech or Financial Services, with a proven track record of driving business growth in the Manufacturing & Logistics sector

  • Leadership & Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing sales teams, with strong skills in coaching, sales pipeline oversight, and performance management.

  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in creating and executing sector-level strategies for the Industrials & Logistics sector combined with the ability to interpret market trends and capitalize on new business opportunities.

  • Product Expertise: Extensive experience in selling foreign exchange risk management solutions, including FX hedging, forwards, options, and payment solutions, with a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to tailor solutions to mitigate currency exposure effectively.

  • Risk & Credit Acumen: Strong understanding of risk management with demonstrated ability to engage effectively with internal credit risk teams to ensure comprehensive risk assessment and alignment with client credit needs. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded experience in collaborating with credit risk teams to structure and adjust credit limits, assess counterparty exposure, and align risk appetite with business objectives.

  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence senior stakeholders, represent the brand externally, and inspire a high-performance sales team.

  • Adaptability & Initiative: Proactive and solutions-oriented, able to navigate a dynamic environment, and stay ahead of market and industry trends.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sector Leadership
  • Develop, implement, and own a sector-specific growth strategy, aligned with broader business objectives, to enhance Moneycorp’s market position in the Industrials & Logistics sector
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, key industry challenges, and strategic trends within the sector.

  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure the sector strategy is integrated with the company’s goals and optimized for business impact.

New Business Generation & Relationship Building
  • Proactively drive new business acquisition through targeted prospecting, networking, and relationship-building within the sector.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, decision-makers, and potential partners to maximize Moneycorp’s visibility and influence.

  • Leverage sector knowledge to tailor solutions, maximize cross-selling opportunities, and build long-term client loyalty.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mid- to junior-level sales professionals, promoting a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Coach and guide the team on consultative selling techniques, enabling them to deeply understand client needs, identify key pain points, and position solutions effectively to maximize customer value.

  • Encourage a data-driven approach to sales, teaching team members to leverage analytics and insights to refine their strategies, optimize performance and improve their closing rates.

  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and drive individual development plans to support team members’ career growth.

  • Foster an inclusive, results-oriented environment where team members are empowered to take initiative, drive deals forward, and meet their individual and team objectives.
 
Thought Leadership
  • Establish and promote Moneycorp as a trusted leader within the sector by building market presence, delivering industry insights and sharing innovative thought leadership, both internally and with clients.

  • Represent Moneycorp at key industry events, webinars, and roundtables, positioning the brand as a forward-thinking voice in the FX risk management and treasury solutions landscape.

  • Develop and share sector-specific content, insights, and case studies to deepen client relationships and attract potential partners.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Champion sales excellence by implementing best practices in pipeline management, deal progression, and relationship-building strategies that drive consistent, high-quality customer engagements.

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for the sector, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management.

  • Actively manage and coach the sales team’s pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and effective deal progression.

  • Drive and oversee the sales cycle to secure new deals and maximize revenue by identifying, cultivating, and closing high-value opportunities within the sector.

  • Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and operations teams to align resources, optimize client solutions, and achieve sales targets.

Risk and Credit Management

  • Proactively own all risk and credit limit discussions to ensure sector-level deals align with company risk parameters and contribute to sustainable growth.

  • Assess and mitigate potential risks in client engagements by maintaining strict oversight of credit limits, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Engage with credit, legal, and compliance teams to balance strategic growth opportunities with practical risk management.
 
Qualifications: 
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Proven senior-level experience (8-10 years minimum) in sales leadership within Foreign Exchange, Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services.
  • Advanced understanding of foreign exchange, treasury, and risk management solutions, including experience with FX hedging, forwards, and options.
  • Strong knowledge of credit and risk management practices, with the ability to evaluate creditworthiness and manage exposure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives within a specific sector.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to foster and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients, and partners.
