Moog Inc. is hiring a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner - Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG).As a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner, you'll partner with our Group Vice Presidents for Engineering and Finance/Contracts, supporting employees located in the US, UK, Ireland, Baguio and India. You will report to the Commercial Aircraft Group Vice President Human Resources Director and have an on-site work schedule in East Aurora, New York.You will proactively identify, define, and implement appropriate HR strategies to enable the Engineering and Finance/Contracts organizations to increase functional excellence and performance, and lead and manage the people management agenda. You will also have overall accountability for the successful delivery of new and existing Corporate and Group level HR initiatives. You will be a member of the CAG Human Resources Team and contribute to HR strategy development, policies. In addition, you will be part of the Engineering and Contracts/Finance strategic leadership teams, participating in decision making beyond HR issues.To be considered for the Strategic Human Resources Business Partner role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.• Typically, 12+ years of HR work related experience, with 3 - 5 years' supporting senior leadership teams.• Demonstrated strategic and business acumen with ability to lead HR strategy development, organizational development and design and change management efforts.• Experience working with, influencing and credibly advising senior leaders in HR matters.• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; organizational ability; facilitation skills; presentation skills.• Proven ability to understand complex organizational issues.As a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner, you will:• Develop strong customer relationships with the Engineering and Finance/Contracts senior leadership teams and provide effective, value-added support to those teams. Understand the Commercial Aircraft Group strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation, execution and ongoing development and delivery of HR strategies that enable the Engineering and Finance/Contracts organizations to increase their functional excellence and performance.• Take ownership and lead the roll out (& subsequent actions) of critical talent management processes such as the talent identification (talent matrix / talent profile), talent development, performance management and succession planning. Own the talent pool and ensure that the talent pipeline and bench strength is continuously improved to meet current and future functional needs.• Provide leadership and expertise in organizational development, organizational design, and change management. Continuously review the organization effectiveness and identify / implement changes needed to ensure the organizations supported are set up to succeed.• Develop, own, and implement an HR strategy that drives employee engagement and supports the delivery of the overall functional strategies. Continually challenge the status quo and introduce new processes/practices or amend current ways of working to aid delivery of functional strategies and help the CAG business be financially successful and hit corporate objectives.• Engender a best practice approach to people management, acting as coach, facilitator and role model. Act as the guardian of the Moog Culture and Philosophy and promote our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.• Take ownership and proactively manage and control employee metrics and ensure that data integrity standards are upheld. Also use data analytics to proactively influence senior leadership decisions.• Take ownership of the successful delivery and implementation of 'business as usual' activities. Lead Group wide or Moog wide projects that may have a global impact or participate in a significant Group wide or Moog wide project representing either HR or the clients-groups.• Support the HR operating model and proactively work to improve the effectiveness of the model on an ongoing basis. Collaborate and work in partnership with the Global CoE's (HR Operations, HR IT, Talent Acquisition, L&D and Comp/Rewards) and the Regional CoE's teams in the development and continual improvement of policies, processes, and initiatives. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
