Senior Technical Product Manager, M2

About the Role

At Movement Labs, we are leading the way in blockchain technology with an open modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment. We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the development of M2, the fastest and most secure Layer Two on the market. This role will be instrumental in developing the network as well as help shaping the developer experience across the board. 

Responsibilities

• Lead the product design and development of M2.

• Manage and develop the product roadmap.

• Understand the challenges, use cases, and competitive landscape in modular blockchains, rollups, and layer two solutions. 

• Conduct market/user research and competitive analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams and the community to gather actionable insights.

• Work closely with the engineering team and cross functional stakeholders to launch new features, measure their impact, establish a positive feedback loop with builders, and make rapid iterations to support our community.

• Act as a bridge between BD, DevRel, and Engineering teams, particularly on converting key business requirements into technical and finalizing timelines/product roadmap

• Collaborate with the marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications 

• Experience in technical product management with over 6 years of experience

• Experience building and launching technical products. A nice to have would be experience in launching blockchains to mainnet.

• Experience in L1/L2 networks and knowledge in web3 ecosystems and business models.

• Experience in infrastructure, platforms, and developer tooling.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to reason about web3 protocol design. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
