SaaS Subscription Billing and Revenue Specialist

MoxiWorks is a leader in developing web-based tools to empower real estate professionals. We are expanding our accounting team and looking to for a Billing and Revenue Specialist, this role is responsible for accurate reviewing of customer contracts, reviewing invoices (subscription and ad hoc), and driving collections efforts.

You will be working with colleagues and customers in multiple time zones, including Australia – please have the ability and willingness to, at times, work during hours enabling real-time collaboration with them.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Invoicing: Manage customer invoicing schedules and ad hoc invoices

·       Collections: Resolve billing inquiries and drive collections efforts to minimize outstanding receivables

·       Subscription Management: Oversee subscription billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASC 606 and company policies.

·       Revenue Recognition: Prepare month-end reconciliations for AR, deferred revenue, and other revenue streams.

·       Customer Contracts: Analyze and review customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.

·       Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the billing and revenue function.

·       Audit Support: Assist with annual financial audits and special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Bachelor's degree preferred

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience with SaaS subscription billing and collections

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience with SaaS cloud-based subscription software (ex Maxio, Chargebee, Recurly)

·       Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred

·       Strong advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.

·       Ability and willingness, at times, to work during hours enabling real-time collaboration with Australia-based colleagues and customers

·       High attention to detail and strong organization skills

·       Must be independent, patient, analytical, problem solver with a strong work ethic.

 

For this role, the salary range is $60-70k depending on experience/acumen and benefits including:
