What You Will Do💡

1. Define and Enhance QA Scope:
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify the scope of QA across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Empower the team to actively participate in defining and refining the QA scope.
2. Establish Comprehensive Test Plans:
• Develop processes to ensure test plans provide comprehensive coverage at every phase of development.
• Implement review mechanisms to continuously improve QA processes.
3. Build a High-Performing QA Team:
• Recruit and nurture a team of QA engineers who are passionate about delivering the best user experience.
• Encourage team members to question every aspect of the SDLC, identify weaknesses, make gaps visible to stakeholders, and track resolutions in a timely manner.
4. Leverage Automation:
• Promote automation to optimize resource utilization, reduce testing cycles, and accelerate release timelines.
5. Adopt Cutting-Edge Technologies:
• Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies to ensure the team employs the best solutions for identifying faults and scenarios in the product.
6. Define and Monitor Metrics:
• Identify and track the right metrics to measure the impact of QA efforts across various phases of the SDLC.
7. Develop Domain Expertise:
• Build deep domain knowledge within the team and encourage continuous learning to strengthen expertise.
8. Foster a Performance-Driven Culture:
• Cultivate a culture where individuals take ownership and accountability for their work.
• Measure performance based on business impact rather than hours spent or bugs closed.
9. Comprehensive Testing Ownership:
• Engage deeply in all aspects of testing, including service testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, contract testing, smoke testing, security testing, performance testing, chaos engineering and testing in production.
• Drive the automation of service behavior monitoring in production environments to consistently deliver the best possible experience for end users.

What You’ll Bring

• Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in QA automation, API testing frameworks, and mobile testing tools.
• Security Focus: Knowledge of security testing practices, including vulnerability detection, compliance testing, and validation of attack vectors.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, AI testing tools, and dynamic code analysis.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey technical details clearly.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI-driven testing tools.
• Previous managerial or team leadership experience.
• Background in scaling QA processes in high-growth environments.
