This is a unique opportunity to take on one of our country's most challenging healthcare problems and join a fast-growing, dynamic team as we prepare to scale our mission to serve more markets.About This RoleThis is an opportunity for a mission-driven team player and leader who has a track record of leading teams and operations in a PACE environment. This team member is accountable for meeting performance targets on day center operations through facilitating the Interdisciplinary team process, leading the operations of the day center and clinic, and by training, supervising and performance managing direct reports. This team member is flexible, wears multiple hats, and is eager to iterate on processes to deliver the absolute best participant experience. This person primarily works at the PACE Center alongside the care team.What will a success look like as our Senior Center Manager?• Facilitates Holistic Care Delivery: Actively support the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) by guiding and collaborating with them to ensure program activities like assessments, care planning, and implementation run smoothly. This includes preparation for IDT conferences, daily morning huddles, family conferences, service determination requests, and timely follow-up to meet participant needs.• Lead Day Center & Clinic Operations: Oversee and manage all daily operations, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and well-coordinated environment for participants and team members alike.• Super-User Trainer and Platform Support: Serve as the go-to resource for training new and existing staff on key platforms (PACElogic, Genesys, PrimeSuite, Navex, Smartsheet, Boostlingo). Foster a supportive learning atmosphere for seamless integration into daily operations.• Team Leadership and Development: Hire, mentor, and lead a diverse and talented team, including Personal Care Attendants, Activities Coordinator, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Registered Dietitian, Nutritional Supervisor, and Receptionist. Prioritize growth, inclusivity, and collaboration to foster a supportive environment for all team members.• Ongoing Team Support and Development: Partner with the People Team to provide continuous performance management, including regular feedback, professional growth opportunities, and support. Work together to ensure the team feels valued and motivated, including during disciplinary actions or performance reviews.• Collaborative Training Initiatives: Work closely with Learning and Development and key stakeholders to develop and deliver effective team education, ensuring every team member feels empowered and confident in their role. Encourage a culture of shared learning and open communication.• Enrollment and Growth Partnership: Collaborate with the Growth Director to align on strategic initiatives for participant enrollment and overall program growth, ensuring that every new participant feels welcome and supported.• Enhance Participant Experience: Implement care programs and operational initiatives in partnership with the care team. Provide continuous feedback to refine processes, always aiming to improve the experience for participants and their families.• Compliance and Quality Assurance Steward: Partner with Compliance and Quality Assurance teams to maintain a high standard of regulatory adherence. Lead and participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Committees and other relevant sub-committees to ensure the organization's success.• Emergency Operations Oversight: Maintain the PACE Emergency Operations Plan and coordinate regular emergency drills to ensure everyone feels prepared and confident. Provide guidance and updates to team members on policies and procedures.• Promote Safety and Wellness: Take responsibility for the safety and well-being of both participants and team members. Encourage safe work practices, review and investigate any safety concerns, and facilitate safety training to create a secure and supportive environment.• Monitor and Achieve Operational Goals: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the center, collaborating with the team to develop strategies that meet or exceed goals, while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive culture.• Facilities Collaboration: Ensure that non-medical program equipment is functioning properly by coordinating maintenance and repairs with the facilities department, creating a safe and comfortable space for all participants.• Retention and Team Engagement: Champion team retention initiatives by fostering a positive, supportive environment that encourages growth, engagement, and connection for all team members.• Provide On-Call Support: Be available for on-call coverage as needed, offering support and guidance to ensure seamless operations.• Contribute to Organizational Growth: Embrace additional opportunities and responsibilities as needed, actively participating in the continued growth and success of the organization.What does an ideal Senior Center Manager look like?• Proven Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of a day center, with a focus on creating a positive, inclusive environment for participants and team members.• Management Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of management experience, where you successfully led teams toward achieving shared goals, fostering collaboration, and building a supportive work culture.• Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree is required, ideally in fields such as Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related area. We value diverse educational backgrounds that contribute to innovative and compassionate leadership.• Mission-Driven and Passionate: A deep commitment to serving high-risk seniors and frail older adults, with a strong sense of purpose in making a meaningful impact on their well-being and quality of life.• Creative and Collaborative Environment: You thrive in dynamic, early-stage environments that encourage creativity, innovation, and teamwork, contributing fresh ideas and solutions.• Relevant Experience: Experience in PACE or Adult Day Health Center settings is highly valued, as it equips you with the skills to provide exceptional care and service to participants.• Language Skills: While fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, it is not required. Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, relevant work and industry experience, certifications, and location of the role.
