Director of Research & Development, EUV Accelerator

Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

In this role you will lead groundbreaking EUV research initiatives at the nation's first CHIPS for America R&D Flagship Facility, shaping the future of semiconductor manufacturing while advancing America's technological leadership. 

Every day you will drive innovation in advanced lithography technology, leading a world-class team of researchers while fostering collaboration between Natcast, NY CREATES, and industry partners in pursuit of breakthrough discoveries. 

To thrive in this role you must combine visionary technical leadership with strategic execution abilities, demonstrating both deep semiconductor expertise and collaborative leadership while advancing America's capabilities in EUV technology. 

Natcast's $825 million CHIPS for America EUV Accelerator at NY CREATES' Albany NanoTech Complex represents a transformative investment in America's semiconductor future. As the executive leader of this initiative, you will drive research that strengthens U.S. leadership in advanced lithography while fostering innovation across the semiconductor ecosystem. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive EUV R&D strategy

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
