Job Description

  • Maintains laboratory purchased reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, logging inventory, and stocking. Determines and responds to material alert levels as required.
  • Coordinates sample and reagent transfers/shipments, verifying integrity of received materials.
  • Coordinates calibration and preventative maintenance of instruments/devices.
  • Scheduling and coordinating calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair work performed by outside contractors.
  • Review of vendor documentation in support of preventative maintenance and repair work.
  • Initiate, track, and close work records in BMRAM equipment database as needed.
  • Performs data entry into quality systems to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
  • Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements and maintains inspection readiness
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a client facing environment

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required - Associate's Degree preferred
  • Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply
  • cGMP experience is desirable.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform tasks within appropriate timeframes while maintaining accuracy
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time Mon-Fri, 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. 
  • Compensation range: $19.50 - $21.50.
