As Sr Learning and Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing growth, mobility, and development programs to ensure all staff have the skills to perform and grow into roles of increasing responsibility over time. You will work to inspire an organization-wide culture of learning, growth and belonging. You will also launch leadership development programs aligned with business goals. The successful candidate is expected to develop and deliver innovative learning programs that enable the retention, attraction and success of exceptional talent.
Responsibilities
You will design and implement effective, ongoing learning opportunities and programs for all staff, which may include mentoring, training and stretch assignments
You will partner across the company to assess people development needs and drive the overall people development strategy, including the creation and administration of learning and training solutions
You will develop systems and infrastructure for all learning, training, and development programs by establishing standardized methods for delivery, evaluation, measurement, and reporting of programs
You will design, develop and implement talent and leadership development concepts and approaches, including owning and driving an effective and inclusive onboarding program
You will embrace a rapid development and just-in-time approach to learning, to accelerate adoption and improve performance
You will develop assessments to gauge training needs in relation to the organization's goals, including conducting focus groups
You will develop and maintain communication strategies to inform employees of development events, opportunities and resources
You will build, deliver, and evolve efficient, scalable, measurable, and value-added talent management processes and programs that cultivate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and invention to support high performance
Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience in talent and leadership development, program design and delivery.
You must be able to tailor approaches to nuances of business and demonstrated effectiveness in a variety of in-person and online learning methods such as workshops, simulations, stretch/OTJ training and assignments, conferences, coaching, and peer learning forums
You must be passionate about our mission, cultivating talent, and in building high-impact, innovative and engaging learning experiences
You must also be nimble, collaborative and results-oriented with superior communication skills and who has credibility as an effective listener and problem solver
