Legal Assistant - US Experience Needed

In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients attorneys by managing office tasks, preparing legal documents, and facilitating communication with clients and courts. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies.
- Conduct research on legal issues and regulations to assist attorneys in case preparation.
- Manage attorney schedules, including meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and updates.
- Maintain organized case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are secure and accessible.
- Assist with the discovery process including document review and preparation.
- Perform administrative tasks, including billing, correspondence, and data entry.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation, organizing exhibits, and preparing trial materials.
- Stay updated on legal updates and changes relevant to the practice area.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is required.
- Basic understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Familiarity with case management software is a plus.
