The Netsuite Developer (0822) Opportunity:

Veev's Netsuite Developer delivers high quality solutions to meet manufacturing, construction and financial business needs. If you are fluent in SuiteScript v1.0/v2.0 API and SuiteFlows Scripting - Suitelets, RESTlets, User Event, etc., we want to learn more about you! As part of our Information Systems team, you will deliver complex cloud-based solutions within the NetSuite environment. Collaborating on managing the day-to-day development life cycle of the Veev’s NetSuite ERP environment, you will own the design of complex solution components, such as for integration, security, custom development.

The successful candidate must have a passion for helping small sized businesses find creative ways to use NetSuite to more effectively run their businesses!

In This Role, You Will:

• Ensure that the custom development accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, including but not limited to guaranteeing proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with and in the project teams.

  • Interface with internal Business Systems Analysts and ERP NetSuite Admins to drive solutions in a timely manner.

  • Document current systems state and wire framing system designs using process flow diagram tools.

  • Provide Level 2 support to super-users and act as liaison with NetSuite support.

• Create and maintain integrations with internal systems using SuiteTalk SOAP based XML web services, RESTlet scripts and Boomi or similar integration tools.

• Troubleshoot standard and custom development issues.

• Configure SuiteBuilder fields, list, records, forms, roles etc.

• SuiteScript v1.0/v2.0 API and SuiteFlows Scripting - Suitelets, RESTlets, User Event, etc.

• Provide technical expertise in the area of NetSuite and custom integrated software configuration, customization and technical management.

  • Suggest improvements that take advantage of NetSuite's capabilities.

• Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third party tools within NetSuite

• Help ensure tracking Change Management in all Business Application platforms

• Maintain user roles and access privileges while controlling data access

• Help to deploy new applications and new NetSuite functionality based on evolving business needs

• Create and edit dashboards, saved searches, reports, workflows, KPIs, forms, etc.

• Work on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and assist other corporate initiatives as directed, assigned, or requested.

Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Physically on site at our Hayward, California offices, a minimum of two or more days per week.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.

• 4+ years’ experience with NetSuite ERP and customization platform, including SuiteScript (V1 and V2), Suite Script, Suiteflow, Suitetalk and SuiteBuilder

• Familiarity with modern object-oriented JavaScript practices and methodologies as well as the use of open-source libraries.

• Practice working in an agile scrum environment.

• Prior experience with PLM and Manufacturing application integration.

• 3 - 5 years' experience with Web Technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Services

• Strong NetSuite Development abilities, including but not limited to experience with the NetSuite ERP SuiteCloud toolset

• Strong JavaScript skills and knowledge of object-oriented programming

• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and continually evolving environment

• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, deployment methodologies, and documentation

• Participate in design conversations at an abstract, business problem level and later transform details into technical design, SOPs and or user documentation

• Strong knowledge of ERP software quality assurance best practices and methodologies

• Data analysis skills

• Must have excellent oral and written communication, decision making, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously, and capable of managing multiple deadlines

• Ability to take direction and work independently

• SuiteFoundation certification

• NetSuite ERP Suite Cloud Developer, NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certification preferred.

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $135,000 - $150,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas. This role is also eligible for stock options, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
