The Role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer in NetWitness you will organize, plan, create and deliver compelling proof of concept demonstrations. You will support our sales team and their efforts by actively assisting in the sales cycle, using both a technical- and sales approach. The role is highly collaborative and you will work with customers and partners to help solve their toughest security challenges with the NetWitness platform and ensure they have a strong understanding of our products.
Your day-to-day
Present the NetWitness platform and product line to prospective and current customers;
Deliver strong operational excellence, to include customer management pre-moment of sale, SFDC discipline and customer acquisition growth strategies;
RFP/Bid documentation support;
POC management in 3 phases from intro to final customer validation;
Customer & partner onboarding ensuring new business is stable and driving long-term territory growth;
Supporting customer/partner special meetings by visiting the customer on-site, if needed;
Working closely and collaborating with all cross functional teams to ensure the successful closure off the sales process.
Working with your leadership team to exceed your team goals;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetWitness's products and features, including but not limited to, knowledge of NetWitness's competitive positioning in the marketplace in general or on a case-by-case basis;

Interest in, and understanding of, the industry and ability to judge trends of the market;
A curious mindset, ability to research and keep on top of industry development;
Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, and be able to connect prospect challenges with the benefits of the NetWitness platform;
Extensive technical knowledge (and learn the NetWitness product lineup).
Requirements
Previous experience of at least 4 years in Pre-Sales of Technical support roles in related fields (IT/cybersecurity/SaaS);
Knowledgeable within the cybersecurity field, including current security issues and technologies concerning industry;
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
