The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is looking for a Market Validation Analyst to evaluate energy markets for accuracy and provide reporting and analysis support.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily data transfers and web postings of prices for energy markets
Evaluate market outcomes and reconcile anomalies
Record price reservations and implement notification processes
Prepare statistics of price reservations and corrections
Research and respond to inquiries from external stakeholders
Assist in identifying impacts of market projects on tools and validations

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, or related field
