Your Flight Path

NewRocket is hiring for a ServiceNow Solution Architect, to join our India team.  The Solution Architect (ITOM/ITSM) is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who architect, design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform for advisory and project professional services. The Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions using leading practices on complex professional services projects.

Your Impact

  • Ensure team organization, individual development, and communication are in-line with Delivery vision; support teams to perform at a high level; foster inter-team collaboration and productivity
  • Deliver measurable positive results within the client and team’s timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customer’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Management on creating a plan that drives results based on the customers’ requirements and budget
  • Research industry impact and innovative opportunities to propose product enhancements
  • Provide engineers with architectural blueprints/requirements for implementations

Your Experience

  • 8-12 years of experience in IT Services 
  • Proven business architecture experience
  • Experience in supporting large client programs from an integration and support perspective
  • ServiceNow ITOM/ITSM modules experience
  • Experience with architecture principles for cloud-based platforms
  • Customer facing, written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills with ability to motivate a team
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to simplify complex situations
  • Ability to deliver high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization, or working with ambiguity and change

 

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, and/or equivalent work experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Applicaiton Developer and Certified Implementation Specialist (if not current, required to obtain within 6 months of starting)
  • Applicable Micro Certifications highly desirable, depending on area of specialty
