SUMMARY OF THE ROLE 


We are seeking a highly skilled Architect, Commercial & Operations Systems, to lead the architecture and implementation of the energy trading and risk management (ETRM) system (Endur) as well as our hydrocarbon accounting system (Energysys). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the integration of Endur and Energysys into our commercial and operations systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and enhances our energy trading, risk, and hydrocarbon accounting capabilities. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of the Endur ETRM system. 
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of the EnergysysHCM system. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Develop and maintain the overall architecture of commercial and operations systems, ensuring seamless integration with our enterprise systems. 
  • Customize and configure the systems to meet specific business needs. 
  • Manage the development and execution of test plans to ensure the system meets performance and functionality standards. 
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the implementation team. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during and after implementation. 
  • Stay updated with the latest features and industry trends to continuously improve the system. 


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years’ experience in implementing and maintaining ETRM systems, specifically Endur. 
  • 8+ years’ experience in implementing and maintaining hydrocarbon accounting systems, preferably Energysys. 
  • Strong understanding of energy trading and risk management processes. 
  • Proficiency in Endur configuration and customization. 
  • Proficiency in low code development platforms including configuration and customization. 
  • Project management experience is a plus. 


Work Environment 

This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc.This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.

·  Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary.

·  Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions.

·  While performing the duties of this role, the incumbent may be required to talk or hear.

·  The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

·  Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities.

·  Able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
