This position will support systems engineering for a hypersonic vehicle. This includes performing technical planning, requirement development, verification and validation, and development of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for verifying system requirements for a system and sub-systems. This includes collaboration with hardware, software, and Integration, Assembly, Test and Checkout (IATC) integrated product teams (IPTs). As a Systems Engineer on this team, you will support a team of engineers to define, develop, decompose, analyze, verify, and validate requirements for weapon system. In this role, you will be supporting program leadership and the customer to define and maintain the technical baseline. Ultimately, you will support the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission by ensuring teams are aware of the compliance requirements they will need to meet. The Hypersonic System Engineering will be responsible for the overall MBSE, requirements derivation, and architecture work-content for IRAD supporting hypersonic vehicle development, along with supporting internal and external interfaces content.

Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00Salary Range 2: $118,600.00 - $168,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
