  • Lead technical discussions and decisions-making to ensure system integrity and alignment with project goals.
  • Design scalable and reliable software architectures to support digital twin systems and their integration with physical assets
  • Ensure that software designs align with overall systems requirements and operational use cases
  • Develop and apply a detailed understanding of systems modeling, engineering, requirements analysis, and design concepts to create, assess, and operationalize MBSE approaches to solving systems architecture, engineering, and integration challenges of the satellite system
  • Develop model profiles, system diagrams, architecture frameworks, and model queries in the MBSE tools that capture and analyze the system throughout their lifecycle from concept definition through integration
  • Integrate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary technical teams to transform requirements and technical information into MBSE tools for analysis and decision-making
  • Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements
  • Provide detailed, prioritized recommendations derived from analysis results to optimize system performance and ensure compliance with requirements through formal presentations to technical leads and reports
  • Interface with various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to gather all necessary data to build, update, and/or maintain the models
  • Will work together with ESS program family, subcontractors, and ESS Framework and Ground Integrator contractor for model federation and integration
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced MBSE Engineers

Basic Qualifications

  • 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in STEM; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM; 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD
