Business Development Representative-C5ISR

Noble is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to join our C5ISR IT team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and DoD customers in the IT arena, focused on the West Coast. Under the direction of the Director, C5ISR - IT, this individual will execute the strategic business and operational plan focusing on critical and strategic accounts. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers will be essential in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the vendor community and manufacturer (OEM) counterparts to include developing, leveraging and relationship building with DoD customers 
  • Have current and sustain long-term relationships with DoD accounts/clients in the IT services space
  • Conducts analysis of the market and the competitive landscape
  • Performs DoD & program office budget analysis to support capture efforts
  • Will assist the organization through the Noble capture and proposal process for opportunities
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive analysis to support discretionary budget spend
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of vendor products and general networking technologies
  • Assist with the follow-through and employment of the Company's vision, strategies, and tactics
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with other departments and/or functions
  • Participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Have an understanding of relevant DoD/USA statutory and regulatory policies, directives, instructions, guidelines and publications, specifically DLA/TLS contracts and other rapid acquisition contract mechanisms
  • Have general understanding of the Services requirements generation process
  • Will have to engage the DoD customer for products and programs
  • Make presentations on Noble portfolio of products and services
  • Attend trade shows

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • A minimum 3 years in Business Development position in IT services
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (CISCO Certifications) or equivalent experience
  • Prior military experience preferred working within a Service's requirements definition and acquisition organizations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills; planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Company products, markets, and technology
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

Competencies:

Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.

Computer Skills:

  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred
