The Center for Child and Family Policy (CCFP) is seeking a highly motivated student worker to provide administrative assistance to the CCFP administrative team. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience performing tasks such as (but not limited to):

Administrative:

• File and filing cabinet project: organizing files and filing cabinets to helps ensure efficient access to important information
• Copying, Scanning, Filing
• Proofreading
• Word Processing
• Excel spreadsheet development
• PowerPoint presentations
• Assisting with event prep (name tags/tent cards, posters on bulletin boards, etc.)
• Compiling/organizing survey results
• Bulletin board updates
• Other administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Must have excellent communication skills, including writing and proofreading
• Must be able to manage details, meet deadlines, and be a self-starter
• Willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with faculty and staff
• Attention to details
• Ability to work well independently

Position is under the supervision of the CCFP Scientific Manager.

Hours per week: 20-40

Compensation: $16.00/hour
