The Pharmacy Technician III reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Under the direction of a registered pharmacist, performs all technical duties associated with the daily operation of the dispensing areas; performs prescription related, unit dose related, and sterile product related functions; performs manufacturing procedures that have been documented in the Department records.

Your responsibilities will include preparing medication orders for inpatients, processing prescriptions for outpatients, and delivering medications to nursing units. You'll also have the chance to work alongside dedicated pharmacists to maintain medication inventory and compounding sterile products, including cytotoxic agents. This full-time rotating position requires adaptability, as shifts may vary, and every other weekend commitment is part of the job. We encourage a collaborative and compliant work environment, so you’ll need an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License and certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
