What You’ll Be Doing:
Design, improve, and scale data ingestion pipelines to support continuous, high-volume AV sensor data flow.
Ensure system reliability and data integrity through monitoring, validation, and quality checks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including infrastructure, perception, and ML—to optimize end-to-end data handling.
Reduce latency and improve performance across the ingestion stack.
Partner with AV development teams to understand evolving data needs and improve accessibility for model training and validation.
What We Need to See:
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Expertise in Golang and building distributed systems at scale.
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals—data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture.
A track record of driving system performance improvements or cost optimizations in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Passion for continuous learning and curiosity about cutting-edge technologies.
Prior contributions to open-source distributed systems or cloud-native data platforms.
Demonstrated ability to debug complex data issues across multiple services and layers.
Excellent communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
