Answers routine and emergency calls for security assistance while obtaining all necessary information required while dispatching security officers to calls for service as well as making notifications to on duty supervisors. Responds to all emergency situations, all types of Hospital/Clinic codes at any given time, monitors Hospital/Clinic video screens, maintains security log and all associated computer entries; handles all call and on-call for security and emergency preparedness for main campus and regional clinics as well as notifications for security incidents and emergency preparedness issues.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.• Good analytical skills• Excellent communication skills• Demonstrates Good Judgement• Strong interpersonal skills• Strong customer service skills• Must possess a good command of the English language, along with the ability to speak clearly and distinctlyJob Duties• Consistently answers calls using standard company greeting.• Solicit and document information needed from callers to determine level of security assistance and then to dispatch officers to assist callers.• Responds to all codes/notifications during emergency incidents.Other related duties as required.
