Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Performs all major front office functions of the Office of the President.
Answers inquiries and resolves problems that require the interpretation, explanation, and justification of administrative and programmatic policies and procedures.
Responsible for Inventory within the Office of the President (e.g. catering, supplies and entering inventory into database). Submits catering for events in a timely manner. Responsible for entering supply order into ESM.
Assist the Executive Assistant to the President with administrative tasks and assignments as they arise.
Assist the Executive Assistant to President with budget related issues and concerns.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments independently and prioritize projects as assigned.
Ability to produce clear, concise, written documents as designated by reporting parties.
Provides critical support to advance the work of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
Manages, plans and coordinates daily calendar activities. Prepares internal and external engagements including but not limited to submitting expenses, documenting meeting notes and supporting logistics for meetings.
Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Works closely and effectively with internal and external stakeholders on a broad variety of administrative tasks.
Gathers anticipated information or materials with little or no direction by using independent judgement and forecasting needs.
Works with and supports administrator needs of Senior Government Relations Officer.
Assist in the review of budgets, and monitors the fiscal transactions and accounts such as travel, Direct Payment Vouchers and Requisitions in Workday.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimal Qualifications:
1). High school diploma or equivalent.
2). Any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below:
A). College coursework in any curriculum, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B). Work experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems.
3). One (1) year (12 months) of work experience comparable to the second level of this series.

Salary: $50,000
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision benefits, generous time off plans, and participation in the State Universities Retirement System.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Hours may vary depending on departmental needs)
