Provide administrative for the day-to-day functions of the
Banking Program under the direction of the Banking Program Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work directly with and take direction from the Banking Program Director, on matters regarding the Banking Program’s administrative priorities and projects.
2. Collaborate with the Banking Program Director and Finance Department Chair, and other College staff on matters regarding the academic needs of the program’s current and prospective students.
3. Develop and initiate the Banking Program’s student application and enrollment process including: promotion of the application season; acceptance and processing of the applications; preparing and disseminating the interview packets; scheduling student interviews with the Banking Program Director and others.
4. Coordinate and execute all Banking Program internal and external events including, but not limited to, Conferences, Open House, and Board Meetings. Prepare reports, information sheets and maps, coordinate registrations and requests for more information.
5. Manage the Banking Program Director’s schedule and the Banking Program’s calendar and related documents.
6. Manage the Banking Program’s budget including tracking fundraising revenues and program expenses, reconciling the Director’s p-cards and program accounts utilizing DIVs, POs, cash reimbursements, and CRVs. Purchase program and office supplies via MU policies and procedures.
7. Maintain program files. Organize and maintain Program’s database information.
8. Creation and dissemination of promotional materials, including Banking Program annual or quarterly newsletter.
9. Assist others in the College with special needs as required.
10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School education.
Two years related experience required.
Must possess excellent customer service skills, flexibility, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Event planning experience.
Ability to organize and maintain manual and electronic filing systems.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and calendar systems.
Ability to access created networked files.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
A skill set that includes good time management, organization, problem solving, strong customer service orientation, ability to work under deadlines, effectively establish priorities, and excellent verbal and written communication.
Must also work effectively in a team-oriented setting and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
