Join our dynamic team as a part-time Community Services Program Manager to support the development and implementation of statewide and community systems to help lead and coordinate administration of HUD homeless assistance programs. The Community Services Program Manager will provide expertise and oversight of community projects which assess individual's housing needs, provide housing search and placement supports, participate in complex care teams, and help Vermonters access housing. The Community Services Program Manager will also support data management, presentation, and analysis on homelessness in Vermont. They will coordinate policy, advisory, and technical work related to homelessness.

Starting wage is $32.33- $40.06, may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Work is both office and field-based with the option to telework. This is a part-time position through the end of 2024. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and a resume through Success Factors.
This position, Office of Economic Opportunity Community Services Program Manager - Temporary (Job Requisition #47780), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. Work is performed primarily in an office setting and in a variety of field situations. Private means of transportation should be available since travel to field sites will be required.
Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years technical, supervisory, and administrative experience in the area of community organization or grant administration.
