Position Summary

We are looking to build out our Product Marketing team with a Product Marketing Manager who is eager to jump in and have a direct impact on Okendo’s product suite. Sitting at the intersection of our Product, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams, you will be responsible for supporting successful product rollouts, GTM enablement, and ongoing product adoption across internal teams and external customers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, become motivated by responsibility, and enjoy finding new ways to communicate the value of Okendo’s products. You’re never satisfied with the status quo, always looking to make things better, and have an insatiable curiosity. The Product Marketing Team uses creativity, market research, and insights to inspire product roadmaps and optimize go-to-market strategies.


How you'll create impact:

Product Releases: Lead and develop core value propositions, selling points, and competitive narratives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing content, sales decks, product one-sheets, webinars, and trainings to support exciting and successful releases.

Product Expertise: Deeply learn and know how each of our products work. Become an expert on our platform differentiators to better understand our market position and implement into GTM materials and programs.

Persona Development: Research our target customer (D2C brands) and gather direct feedback to understand their key drivers, behaviors, and how they think. Create concise, compelling messaging that helps them understand the value of Okendo’s products.

Competitive Intelligence: Build a best-in-class competitor intelligence program through deep and ongoing analysis (positioning, product gaps/differentiators, plans/pricing, and more). Develop consistent and impactful training and materials that strengthens our competitive positioning.

GTM Enablement: Communicate the benefits and value of new product features and updates to internal teams ensuring they have the information needed to help fuel the sales pipeline, customer retention, and drive growth.

Cross-functional Alignment: Build strong consensus, alignment, and engagement across Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Partnerships teams to support continuous collaboration and success.


What we need from you:

- 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, strategy, or similar go-to-market experience

- Previous background in SaaS marketing with a focus in either consumer apps or B2B technologies

- Experience launching products or product features with cross-departmental alignment, and tailoring communications to different audiences, both internally and externally

- Strong critical thinking and project management skills with the ability to adapt, context switch, and meet timelines

- Excellent storytelling and communication skills with a focus on creative, customer-centric narratives

- Proven track record executing product marketing strategies that had impactful measurable results

- Positive, always curious team player excited about the opportunity to be a part of a hyper growth company


1-Month Success

- You’ve completed onboarding and have a solid understanding of Okendo’s products and roadmap

- You’ve met with key cross-functional stakeholders within the organization from Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Sales, Partners

- You’re learning our voice-of-customer — understanding their pain points, key drivers, behaviors, and what resonates with them

- You’re jumping into release planning and starting to get involved in deliverables needed to support product launches

- You’re helping to audit the current product content and collaborating with teams on suggested updates and improvements

- You’re meeting with your Manager and key stakeholders weekly to ensure strong alignment and understanding of top priorities


6-Month Success

- You’re in flow — you have a deep understanding of your product lines, the competitive landscape and the personas you serve

- You’ve created an impactful competitor intelligence program that helps support organizational knowledge of our market position and that our internal teams truly value

- You’re consistently collaborating with cross-functional teams on new releases, measuring results and adoption, and sharing creative ideas to continually improve strategies and inspire others


1-Year Success

- You’ve successfully launched several impactful features that have been critical to Okendo’s success

- You’re a trusted and respected Okendo product expert with a reputation for being an excellent team member and collaborator

- You’re continuing to bring new ideas and best practices for how to deliver compelling product content to market

- You’re looking to take on more responsibility and mentor new product marketers joining the team
