At Old Dominion we are looking for individuals to join the OD Family that will provide innovative solutions and exceed expectations to keep OD the premier transportation solutions provider.Works closely with operational staff to implement new security technologies and tools including designing, building, and defending scalable, secure, and robust systems; helping the organization understand advanced cyber threats and helping to create strategies to protect corporate assets.Primary Responsibilities• Responsible for activities that monitor, detect, respond, and recover from security incidents and breaches• Recommend, design, and implement new security controls to assist in detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats• Review current security controls for improvements and increased efficiency• Maintain current knowledge of information security threats• Implement, monitor, and maintain threat intelligence data• Evaluate vulnerability scans for risk as well as develop and manage vulnerability mitigation plans• Lead security assessments such as penetration tests, red team exercises, tabletop exercises and risk assessments• Lead incident response activities, including steps to minimize the impact and then conducting a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damageJob QualificationsEducation:• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent education and experience• Industry certifications CISSP, CEH and Security+Experience:• 5 years of information security experience including reviewing and designing security solutions• Lead Risk, Asset and Exposure Management and automate workflows• Quantify, identify, and prioritize cybersecurity risk and compliance• Responsible for identifying and sharing asset management information and configurations with existing Configuration Management Database• Ensure visibility and continuously monitor assets across diverse networks, ensuring compliance and controlling network access.• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, hacking tools, EDR, CASB, DLP, firewalls and other NEXGEN security solutions• Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption and other security products, concepts and procedures that aid in the evaluation of risk and design of information technology systems• Strong troubleshooting skills• Strong organization and analytical skillsCompensation Range:The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
