Job Description

Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team is at the forefront of engineering innovation, providing comprehensive services for large commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations.  Our expertise includes engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting, ensuring top-tier quality and world class installations. As a member of this team, you will contribute to diverse, high-impact projects, delivering engineering solutions that make a tangible difference in communities and industries.

Olsson is seeking a Project Mechanical Engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about mentoring others. This role requires applying engineering principles creatively and guiding team members towards innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering projects with a focus on teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering a learning environment.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams, promoting open communication and cohesive working relationships.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development, setting an example for team members.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Tulsa, OK; Overland Park, KS; Kansas City, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; Fort Worth, TX or Plano, TX office locations.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6 or more years of related mechanical engineering experience.
  • Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
