Online ESL Instructor

Set up your home office and get ready to teach English online to students around the world. We're currently contracting with teachers to conduct lessons on both our current standard online platform, and our OBS-based Hyper Class platform. This new technology brings an array of features and benefits that will enhance the learning experience for both you and your students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conversation-based group and private lessons to adult learners.
• Choose your own schedule and teach from virtually anywhere in the world.
• Instructors have access to innovative teaching materials that incorporate cutting-edge technology in the online classroom, but can also put their own personal spin on their lessons.

Teaching requirements

• Fluent English speaker.
• Additional opportunities to teach beginner English students for teachers proficient in Portuguese, Arabic, French, English, German or Spanish (not required).
• Minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Computer, headset, webcam, and a strong internet connection (Ethernet preferred).
• Minimum 40-Hour TEFL certificate of equivalent earned by beginning of contract term.
• Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Life experience counts!

• PC; CPU: Intel i5 (10th generation) or higher;
• Memory: 16 GB or higher;
• HD: 30GB free capacity, SSD HD;
• Screen resolution: 1536 * 1024 or higher;
• Windows ONLY, Windows 10 or higher;
• Browser: Chrome 102 or higher;
• Webcam: 1080P webcam is needed (Logitech C920 recommended);
