Project Manager - Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Construction to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of our construction projects. In this role, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor project managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project objectives and deliverables.

Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring costs and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential cost-saving measures and implement corrective actions to keep projects on budget.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

  • Lead, mentor, and guide project managers, site supervisors, and other team members.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide professional development opportunities.

Risk & Quality Management

  • Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.

Stakeholder & Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Oversee compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project close-out materials.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance safety measures, and implement best practices.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction background with at least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.

Technical Proficiency

  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Leadership & Communication

  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex schedules and budgets.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving project risks, conflicts, and issues in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000-90,000 per year
