As part of the Growth team, you'll be at the forefront of bringing OpenAI's technology to the world. This team works on high-impact projects that aim to amplify our global user base and drive the long-term growth of our products through data analysis, value creation, and experimentation. We aim to make our innovative tools universally accessible, transcending geographic, economic, or platform barriers.

 About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital presence and driving business results through continuous optimization of our website. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including communications, marketing, product, engineering, and data science to deliver a seamless and delightful user experience. This is a unique opportunity to be the first person to bring an optimization mindset to our website and shape its strategy from day one.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

• Create, maintain, and execute a roadmap of experiments aimed at improving the performance of OpenAI's website.

• Prioritize initiatives that enhance user experience while driving business results, including signups, subscriptions, and sales leads.

• Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities for website improvement.

• Design and execute A/B tests in collaboration with data science teams to validate hypotheses and make data-driven decisions.

• Leverage web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to monitor website performance and uncover trends and opportunities.

• Share insights, results, and learnings across teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies to keep OpenAI’s website at the forefront of digital innovation.

• Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, user engagement, user traffic patterns, and sales lead generation.

 You might thrive in this role if you:

• Extensive experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), web analytics, growth marketing, and digital marketing.

• Strong proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Looker Studio.

• Demonstrated experience designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests with tools like Statsig, Adobe Target, Optimizely, AB Tasty, etc.

• In-depth knowledge of SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies.

• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and experience working with CMS and CRM systems like WordPress, HubSpot, and Salesforce.

• Skilled in SQL for advanced data analysis.

• Experience in both B2B and consumer product environments.

• A passion for AI and its potential to transform digital experiences.

• Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
