Operations Analyst

Summary
This position will assist in rapid growth by designing workflows, documenting, and translating bundle definitions into system configuration required for successful administration. This position is hands on and will require “rolling up of sleeves” by leading claims and workflow analysis, working with the implementation, IT, and operational teams, and testing of all key elements throughout the phases of the onboarding cycle necessary to turn over to the operational claims team. Position will lead process discussions for new bundle clients, working collaboratively with all parties. Individuals in this role shall apply analytical and design skills across a range of value-based care requirements. The Management team will look to this person to provide workflow direction, provide detailed requirements, and guidance through the design and project implementation decisions. Project durations will vary from several weeks to several months.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business team leader within the Ops organization and process expert to ensure the successful design, documentation and configuration of new bundles and associated claims workflows
  • Responsible for translating and planning process changes to ensure seamless transition to claims administration
  • Design use cases for all testing phases around new value-based clients
  • Execute regression testing and UAT working with claims staff
  • Develop and maintain claims related tools for operational staff usage
  • Lead any new efforts, working with Product or DevOps that may be required for operating new value-based arrangements
  • Synchronize activities across multiple projects
  • Special tasks as required

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • 4+ years analysis in healthcare with some experience in healthcare claims
  • 2+ years of experience in project-based delivery work as a business analyst
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare EDI transactions
  • Experience in analysis for Microsoft based custom development projects
  • Strong mathematics and reasoning ability to solve problems
  • Clear communication in writing and verbally tailored to the level of your audience
  • Ability to speak professionally with others to convey information effectively
  • Capable of identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
