About the Role
Contributes to the effective and smooth operations of the Beedie School of Business by providing reception, clerical, and administrative support to the General Office, staff, faculty, and teaching assistants (TAs). Acts as the primary resource and contact person with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and partners; provides standard office and online communications support; operates the room booking calendar and schedules appointments with internal and external parties; processes daily mail; duplicates and reproduces a variety of materials; applies the correct codes from the Chart of Accounts for financial reporting on charges related to operations; maintains an inventory control for office equipment and supplies; creates and maintains accurate database records (e.g. personnel staff information), exam and key logs; receives and records payments for lab printing services, business cards, and name badges; maintains an inventory of office equipment, supplies, and promotional gifts; processes midterm and final examination documentation; and provides a range of secretarial and clerical support services for events, workshops, seminars, and special events.
