The Process Support associate exercises discretion and independent judgment over the tasks, duties and job responsibilities as outlined below. The position has significant importance due to the critical nature of the employee benefit administration function performed by Wrangle for its clients. The position requires a professional relationship and professional communication with Wrangle staff.

Responsibilities:

The Process Support associate is responsible for interacting between two functions in Wrangle – receipt of data and providing the completed Form 5500 to the client, working extensively within our online Dashboard. The primary responsibility is to prepare the Form 5500 along with efiling it once signed pages are received. This involves knowledge of the Form 5500, as well as the ability to pull data from multiple sources to complete the Form accurately and completely. Interaction is primarily with Wrangle staff. The task and duties are listed below, but are not limited to these:

Schedule As should be reviewed for the correct carrier, policy number, policy period, benefit and funding. If correct, they should then be uploaded and entered into the Wrangle database/Form 5500. Schedule As should be combined whenever possible. Self-review of all data input is required. Once the last schedule has been entered into the system for that 5500, generate a snap shot, validate the 5500 and, once validated, generate the Summary Annual Report. Efile on a daily basis. Prepare Amended, Ticking and One-Year DFVCs, as requested by the Consultant. Assist and support Consultants, 5500 Specialists and Data Collections – Broker and Carrier Facing as necessary to optimize the Wrangle process. This may include reviewing and finalizing plan sponsor data, and completing the new file checklist as needed, and once trained. Other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

This position requires a significant amount of self-management in terms of following Wrangle’s Best Practices Form 5500 Timeline and Process Manual. This associate should be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and focus on quality output in a team environment, as well as the ability to type quickly and accurately.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
