We are hiring an Operations Manager to manage a dynamic product division and to maximize efficiency, ensure safety, perfect quality and on time delivery and achieve cost targets
What You Will Be Doing:
Manages a production division from raw materials to finished product on all shifts. Integrates people, materials, equipment and technology to meet production schedules. Controls costs through the use of budgets and cost reduction programs. Ensures the division meets, or exceeds, goals and expectations. Ensures all employees are properly trained for efficiency and safety. Works to meet quality goals and meet customer expectations. May oversee one or more supervisors, possibly on an alternate shift for the area.

Requires proven managerial leadership and problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically.

Must have good knowledge of the manufacturing process including engineering methods, the quality system, manufacturing technology, capacity analysis, and safety requirements.

Strong working knowledge of people management and resource management

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Requires good verbal/written communication skills to deal effectively with employees, staff departments and vendors in items that occasionally are sensitive and confidential.

Must demonstrate good use of judgment, planning, organizing, delegation, analysis and follow-up.

Financial acumen - understands budgeting, compensation systems, income statements and project justification.

Must be willing and able to lead “special” projects and achieve successful project results.

Must be effective in the administration of policies, procedures, laws and regulations to maintain both environmental and labor legal compliances.

Must be market focused to enhance customer satisfaction and product development.

Must demonstrate initiative, tolerance for stress, adaptability and ability to impact.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge / experience with manufacturing support areas.
