In Finance, we are responsible for creating, reporting, and delivering financial data quickly and accurately by using the latest innovative technology to help all of Optima achieve this mission. The Financial Analyst will join our Finance team to help provide world class accounting, financial, data and analytics support to our Practice Support Center functions here in Portsmouth, NH. It's up to you to make it happen.What's the Role (Responsibilities):In Optima Finance, we are committed to providing world-class support to our clinical partners and operations teams by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership. As a member of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to:Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.Prepare and file various tax returns, including sales tax, use tax, and property tax.Review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for accuracy.Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies and procedures.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and vendors.Provide guidance and training to junior staff members as needed.Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.You'll Need to Have (Qualifications):4+ years of financial experienceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fieldsOutstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsThe ability to confidently work with data, identifying business trends and be able to create insightful analysisStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks are requiredFlexibility to work in a fast-moving environmentSuperior Microsoft Excel skillsTeam player with ability to deal with changing priorities#J-18808-Ljbffr
