The Oracle Life Sciences GIU leads in providing integrated data collection and data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety. As part of the LSGIU development organization, you'll contribute to a mission-critical platform that empowers our customers to tackle global healthcare challenges in areas such as vaccines and oncology with unparalleled performance, scale, and reliability. Successful candidates will be strong team players capable of working across multiple functions and disciplines. You should be self-directed with deep experience and knowledge in software design, coding, and testing methodologies. Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities Architect, design, create, and maintain the full stack (both front-end and back-end) of a customer-facing cloud-native application. Contribute to the creation and review of system and software requirements. Promote and support good software engineering practices. Adhere to company procedures and help maintain relevant documentation. Actively engage in all aspects of the software engineering process. Prepare test cases for software verification and validation. Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 6 years of software engineering or related experience. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 11 paid holidays Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
