This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth. Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems, are strong technical writers, feel comfortable working directly with customers and have an insatiable curiosity about what "is possible" with cloud technology. The primary focus of a Technical Proposal Cloud Solution Engineer is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects, customers, and internally to our sales force.This is a HYBRID position with the candidate based in the VA/DC area.Candidates will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret / Top-Secret Security Clearance to work with the US Federal government.Career Level - IC5ResponsibilitiesIs this the position for you?As a Technical Proposal Cloud Solution Engineer you will be responsible for:- Writing technical proposals for US federal government customers seeking Oracle Cloud services and task order solutions (sizing and architecture).- Understanding, identifying, and documenting client requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate, and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security, and service delivery.- Providing pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.- Acts as a technical resource, mentor, and leader for less experienced Solution Engineers.- Design and validate Oracle cloud architecture solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.- Support sales team in online and in-person efforts to ensure technical writing component of the proposals are thorough and aligned.- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Knowledge and experience with any of public cloud providers including Oracle, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or Google (GCP) architecture, tools, and cloud methodologies.Come join us!#LI-PA4Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,800 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral.
