Job Title: Bids & Proposal Specialist
Responsibilities :
The Sales Bids & Proposals Specialist is responsible for the project management of customer-facing requests for proposals, requests for information, an invitation to bid, etc. (RFPs, RFI, ITB), i.e., low to high touch RFPs. The Bids & Proposal (B&P) Specialist will work closely with sales, product line marketing, inside sales, professional services, customer services, and other groups as necessary to coordinate a strong Juniper Networks product/service customer-facing document.
The B&P Specialist will be responsible for the overall drafting and presentation of content for RFPs, and maintaining the corporate boilerplate. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, with strong organizational skills and extensive writing experience in a professional environment. The B&P Specialist will be responsible to chase missing completion documentation and provide feedback and guidance to the account and bid team regarding Juniper Networks documentation production, legal issues, and revenue recognition issues.
Work closely with the proposal manager to establish best practices and firm standards for responding to requests for proposals and collaborate with the proposal team, and account team to draft content for RFP submissions.
Draft, update and maintain practice descriptions, tailored content, and other standard response language used in proposals and RFPs. This also includes the development of templates for cover letters, executive summaries, and follow-up letters.
Coordinate and maintain corporate boilerplate and ensure content is updated.
Background :
Minimum Salary: $63,360.00
Maximum Salary:$97,152.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $63,360.00 and $97,152.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
