Team Lead - Catalog Matching/Annotation

The Team Lead - Matching and Annotation is responsible for managing and mentoring the Matching and Annotation Team, ensuring operational efficiency and quality in the team's workflows. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to guide the team in performing research and metadata annotation with precision. The Team Lead will also oversee process improvements, performance evaluations, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Matching and Annotation Team to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews to minimize errors and ensure the accuracy of team outputs.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements over time.
  • Analyze performance data and reports to assess team member performance and conduct performance reviews.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and management, address concerns, and resolve disputes within the team.
  • Keep detailed records of quality assurance findings and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports to management as required.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts related to tasks and team dynamics.
  • Identify potential risks and encourage creativity within the team and processes to successfully manage projects.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required to contribute to the department’s success.

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or partially completed) in Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6–12 months of experience in the relevant field with strong expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proficiency in management tools and software relevant to the role.
