Outbound Coordinator - Final Process

This position contributes to the success of the entire warehouse operations by performing all essential functions of the Outbound department, packaging, consolidation and special handling.
Core Accountabilities

• Strong understanding of day-to-day functions of the distribution center, to include picking, packing, Vas, Shipping, Planning, Returns and Receiving processes.
• Responsible for monitoring DC conveyor system to ensure a steady flow of carton traffic throughout the DC. Work with DC teams to maximize flow to each area without causing system congestions.
• Acting DC liaison between Cole Haan DC departments. Alerts all parties of potential system challenges in executing daily tasks.
• Communicate Mechanical issues to maintenance and DC management.
• Work with shipping to ensure daily workload is setup to correct shipping spurs.
• Strong understanding of MARC and TKO systems. Including cross-reference report, managing takeaways, Slat sorter/Swivel wheel aborts, Lane changes and Vas diverts etc.
• Responsible for fixing and reporting any rejected cartons throughout the day. Keep a log of daily issues and Work with DC supervisors to come up with solutions to make process for efficient and effective.
• Coordinates and supervises consolidation area ensuring all planned daily work tasks are completed for day end. Plan daily workload with DC supervisor/coordinators to ensure workload is prioritized to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Report any extra or damaged inventory to DC cycle count team ensuring DC inventory accuracy.
• Work in packing list area labeling and matching up packing list to shipping carton.
• Backup Vas coordinator as needed.
• Perform special handling request according to customer specification which include ticketing, removing price tags, re-labeling, banding, special packaging, etc.
• Assist with the training and development of temporary workforce.
• Provide and support company safety policies and procedures.
• Work with peers in other areas to ensure the success of the entire facility and support cross training plans.
• Provide support to all warehouse functional areas when needed

Computer skills: MS Word, Windows, Excel, SAP and WMS.
May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull. May be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components while operating machinery and exerting force or lift up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
