RESPONSIBILITIES

Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.
Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.
Spot railroad cars and locate them at appropriate position utilizing a mechanized rail car mover.
Perform minor maintenance duties on packaging equipment.
Brace and place tonnage for all railroad cars and trucks.
Replace baghouse filters as required by Maintenance Schedule.
Clean bag packaging and bulk loading equipment.
Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.
Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.
Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area.
Operation of Ink Jet Printing System, Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferred.
Satisfactory completion of all defined self-study and Process Specific training requirements for the Packer Classification.
Satisfactory completion of On-the-Job Training requirements
Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000/14001), GMP and Responsible Care Training.
