WHO WE ARE

Pallet is a company dedicated to disrupting the logistics industry. Located in San Francisco, CA, we've secured $14 million in funding from investors, including Bain Capital Ventures and Bessemer.

Our flagship product is a cartage Transportation Management System (TMS) designed to streamline business operations. We've eliminated data entry, integrated warehouse management, automated billing processes, and more. At Pallet, we provide end-to-end logistics visibility, control, and optimization. Our TMS and Warehouse Management System (WMS) offer the tools to enhance logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction with faster and more reliable delivery times for carriers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a new Business Operations to join our fast-growing team here in San Francisco. This individual will be building out a new product segment fully owning initial operational strategies.

SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON

• Be the main strategic operational owner for a new product vertical in the last-mile delivery segment; courier for Pallet encompassing millions of dollars in untapped revenue.
• Formulate structured playbooks for seamless onboarding, migrations, and various operational procedures, establishing a blueprint for 0 to 1 program development.
• Be the main point person for our clients, understand their needs, relaying product and engineering enhancements to the proper teams and advocating for their success on Pallets platform.
• Develop and implement impactful pricing models for courier services, ensuring precision and effectiveness in financial strategies.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and meticulous attention to detail, embodying a client-facing operations role with finesse.
• Lead a cross-functional team of account managers, product support, and work closely with Customer Success Management, Founders, Product Management and Engineering

YOU HAVE

• 2-5 years of experience in business operations or a similar background.
• Early-stage startup experience.
• Proven success in managing large-scale projects and creating repeatable playbooks.
• Experience working in a B2B technical product environment with understanding of API's, product development cycles, support processes, etc.
• Strong client-facing skills with a track record of positive customer interactions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks ruthlessly and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.

• Experience in developing and executing pricing models.
• People management experience.

SELLING POINTS

• Opportunity to drive and own critical strategic initiatives, particularly in unlocking new opportunities in the courier sector.
• Collaboration with founders and other key stakeholders, providing an opportunity to contribute directly to the company's strategic direction.
• Potential involvement in a new 0-1 project with notable shippers, enhancing the business's market presence and increasing the companies TAM.

POSITION'S COMPENSATION RANGE

$120,000 - $160,000 per year plus equity
